Jill Schupp

Jill Schupp, the daughter of Joan and Harry Seltzer, grew up in St. Louis County with older brother Garry and younger sister Joy. Jill’s dad ran a salvage yard with his father until shortly after Jill’s grandfather’s death, and then sold cars for Weber Chevrolet. Her mom worked as a clinical audiologist.

While volunteering at her sons’ school, Jill became motivated to run for the Ladue School Board, where she served two terms beginning in 2000. She worked to reduce class sizes, implement strategic and capital spending plans, introduce an elementary foreign language program, improve communications and air condition the schools.

She was elected to the Creve Coeur City Council in 2007.
